Backpass maybe you are referring to the Red Backed Shrike which once bred in England but now sadly is only seen on passage.
The Red Tailed Shrike is a central Asian species, but if that's your preference then good choice!
My favorite is the Grey Goshawk: http://capricorncoastbirds.com/Grey%20Goshawk.html

I had a client who had a genuine phobia of open doors.
Each time he walked through a door, he would shut it 3 times. If I shut the door, he'd still go back and open and close it 3 times.
After the third time, he'd make a sort "hmmhmm" noise and stare at the door handle.
Sometimes he would disappear in the middle of a meeting to go and close some door somewhere.

The dinosaurs evolved into birds but died out because they were too selfish.
It's all a cover up. I'm tellin' you.

I've got an Indian mate who is scared of birds. You'll be waking down the road talking away and he'll suddenly freeze and jump into a shop doorway cos he's seen one. I wondered if it might be an Asian thing as I've never known an Asian person who likes animals (except cows). Defjams refusal to allow a black lab icon is further evidence of this.

Arctic tern, which not only flies from pole to pole and back, but manages to look great as well. Or perhaps the wandering albatross: despite its name it returns every year to its lifelong mate.

I used to go to games with this girl called Mandy who was shit scared of birds. If she saw a pigeon on the path up ahead, she'd panic and grab my arm..
